I've lived in  Co-op housing for over 12 years. As a former model, trained at Patricia Stevens, I would like to train children who live in other coops as models. The kids I would train would be of different ethnic backgrounds, I had the pleasure of training  4 (2) being former neighbors. Once these kids are professionally  trained, I would like to approach children's stores for donations of clothing for runway fashion shows. The reason I incorporated the above name, because of  my own name Sharon Weekes.

Once this idea is implemented, my plan is to take these shows on the road (provided the kids are not in school i.e. march breaks summer,  with permission from the parents)

I intend to donate a portion of these proceeds to charities.  My son has MS. I first presented this idea to the SEB in  Mississauga, small business coaches worked with me to put my idea on paper, and was presented with a  logo. It was shot down by one of the coaches, so I ended up just putting my idea to bed.  I became excited again, when I saw your ad on TV. To be able to help others has  always been my passion, and I would love to be able to launch this idea.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do so. I did approach 1 of the Thrift stores and they were very interested.  As part of my research, I also approached Sick Kids Hospital, and was told that I could go on line to find out how they can help. I live in Oakville, where residents love helping out, so I don't think there would be any problem with clothing donations. Exposure through advertising for retail chains can also be arranged. My plan is to do seasonal shows, to launch new designs for every season, my sister who is a fashion stylist,  studied in France, can be part of my team.

One of my former neighbors "J" who I trained, lost her Dad by a sudden death. I became J's mentor, had it not been for her fashion sense, and gaining her self confidence she would not have survived her home eviction. J who is now 12 years, is  back on her feet and her grades are back on track. I am so proud that I was a part of this. I am also proud that I hold a certificate for  The Childrens Aid Society, got acquainted with some of our youth as a volunteer driver.

I am at present a Board Member of Hosanna Outreach Ministries , we feed all homeless whether young or old. The Director and her husband, who are Pastors also reached out to J and her Mother, to  offer a helping hand.

Under my charity "Wee Share" I intend to reach out to all whether young or old, by taking my shows to the underprivileged, and seniors.

kindly review the changes I've made,
I believe that I am now eligible for the youth prize

Thank you,
