We are a small (46 units) co-operative housing complex in Stoney Creek Ontario. Currently we have 61 children living here, 52 under the age of twelve. Recently we have had to remove our aging , unsafe playground with no funds to replace it. Our community was heartbroken at the loss as all know we have no money. In 2005 our coordinator here at Andes Heritage stole all our money (approx 80,000) Charges were laid with only a small amount recouperated from fraud insurance, 15,000. This money is gone we are struggling to keep up with the demands of an aging co-op, we are twenty next year, this is our only hope fo4r a park for our children in the near future. All we really want is a safe place for our children to play.
