About the Aviva Community Fund
The power to make a difference is in your hands.
For seven years, we've been putting our money where our business is - investing in charitable community initiatives across Canada. We're proud of the $5.5 million in funding we've made to date, and can't wait to donate another $1 million this year.
If you're involved with a charity or community organization that's making a local difference, then we want you to submit an idea. Secure enough votes from friends, family and supporters, and your idea could make it to the Finals, where a judging panel will select the Grand Prize Winners to share $1 million in funding.

How it works?
Enter your idea from September 15 to October 2. There are three categories and two funding levels to choose from.
For your idea to succeed, it must earn votes. Tell everyone you know (and even those you don't) about your incredible idea. Promote your idea on Facebook and Twitter, and reach out to local media outlets.
Encourage your friends, family and community to vote every day from October 6 to 23. You have 18 votes and 18 days to use them. You can use your votes for a single idea, or multiple ideas, but you can only vote for the same idea once per day.
About the Broker Competition
The Broker competition is a special Aviva Community Fund Grand Prize. When you get at least one vote from an Aviva broker partner in your community, your idea is automatically entered into the Broker-supported Grand Prize competition, giving it one more chance to win up to $100,000 in funding.

Ideas submitted directly by an Aviva-contracted brokerage are also automatically eligible for the Broker prize.
