Overview:Hidden Valley Stables is located 5 mins from Downtown Digby. What we are. We are a safe place for youth to come and learn the basic skills and management of horses. We will open our home and stable to the general public.
Horses heal the inside of the soul. Currently we have a 4-H light horse group that comes to our home and we play games, watch movies, and learn about horses. It is wonderful to see the smiles on the youth's faces when they spend time with the animals.
Hidden Valley Stables provides a safe place for the youth in our community to come. We have 43 acres of land. We would love to see the youth working with horses, planting gardens, and managing the Tack Shop on location to assist them with the skills that they will require later in life.
Looking toward the Future we would love to be able to open our doors for Youth at risk from all over the province.
We want to provide troubled children a bridge to a valued, responsible and productive future.
Hidden Valley Stables goal to provide abused, neglected, and at-risk youth a caring home while actively working to resolve crises in the youth’s life, restoring the individual and reunifying the famillies.
We also want to have summer camps, learning activities, trail rides horse shows ETC for children,
If we get the Funding we will use the money to Build the barn, with an apartment upstairs and the home that is we live in will be for the youth.
Funding will be used for program cost
