YFC - Youth Unlimited Waterdown

Overview:

It seems a long time coming, but we can finally start the process toward realizing a Youth Centre in Waterdown.  Approval was obtained in March for the rezoning of donated land at Parkside and Hamilton Street.  A huge thank you to Ben Van Hoeve and Terry Wilk for all of their time and resources to work through getting this approval with the city.  Capital funding is still need and an ongoing campaign is in effect funds received through Aviva would go a long way.

Realizing Potential - YFC\ Youth Unlimited, is a non-profit faith based organization that through its staff and programs comes alongside young people, providing mentoring and support. We provide a listening ear, helpful direction, problem solving and fun activities that develop and expand their opportunities for growth.
Empowering Youth - Mobilizing young people to reach their friends through peer to peer initiatives. Developing young people to take on key leadership roles in our local community. Engaging in strategic partnerships with other like- minded organizations to achieve a shared vision for our youth.

Challenging, nurturing and equipping the young people to become a healthy whole person, and to be committed to addressing social needs in their community with purpose.
