Algonquin Community Rec Centre and InDoor Pool

Overview:

One of these days I am going to see a GRAND OPENING sign, watch the ribbon cutting, doors swinging open to children laughing and splashing in one area and traditional song and dance from another. Youth creating childhood memories with friends and family all with the intent to stay healthy and active. Elders relaxing in the sauna after a weekly water aerobics class. A "Mommy and Me Club" starting for the babies and for the hard working mothers a soak in a hot tub once in a while, would be nice!! Swimming is also good for expecting mothers too. Year round swimming lessons where the kids can be proud of each badge they move up. Birthday parties, school electives, great exercise, do I have to say more!!!!! Games, crafts, a pool and a dance studio would keep any child busy on the cold and rainy days all year round!!!! So that’s one of my dreams hopefully if I knock on wood enough times it will come true!!!!
