A Driving Force: Doubling Trips for Kids Ottawa'sCapacity

Overview:

Trips for Kids Ottawa is looking for capital to purchase or lease a large passenger van to use for all our programs: camps, after school activities, weekend outings and other events that fit our mission statement.

A passenger van would provide transportation to near and far locations, act as a mobile home base, and most importantly provide more availability, in effect doubling our reach to children and teens in need of subsidized and reduced-cost outings.

Trips For Kids Ottawa (TFKO) is a non-profit organization that provides mountain bike outings and environmental education for kids who would not otherwise be exposed to such activities. At our outings, we teach lessons in personal responsibility, achievement and environmental awareness through the simple act of having fun.

Trips For Kids Ottawa provides opportunities for children and teens to experience adventure through mountain biking and other outdoor activities. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to explore the great outdoors so we provide the equipment.
