International Center for 3 Dimensional Learning

Overview:OVERVIEW International Center for 3 Dimensional Learning (IC3D Learning) Imagine being forced out of the only place you’ve ever called home and being thrust into a process that ultimately lands you in a new home where the language is different, the people are different, and you feel like you don’t fit in. Imagine being born with a physical limitation and looked upon as if you were not normal or disabled. Imagine if you loved to learn, but was limited by economical status. Now imagine a place for children to go and dream, a place where children can explore the world and be themselves within a safe judgment free environment. Imagine the International Center for 3 Dimensional Learning (IC3D Learning) being that place. IC3D Learning is a 21st Century Childcare Center designed to prepare children between the ages of 0-5 for transition into public school. At IC3D Learning, youth experience a multicultural learning environment, while exploring personal interest and curiosities. IC3D Learning encourages students to be self motivated while nurturing their inner strengths. IC3D Learning is a building with sky lights, wide open space, and many windows, supported by solar energy. At the heart of the space is a big beautiful garden that children can learn from and tend to on a daily basis. At IC3D Learning, themes of Tolerance, Multiculturalism, and healthy living are an interwoven part of all programming. At IC3D Learning, children have an abundance of educational handmade play tools made from 100% natural materials. The center is outfitted with locally and internationally imported furniture. At IC3D Learning, children are encouraged to learn world languages, and discover the world through storytelling, Arts, and cultural activities. Each day children at IC3D Learning experience a passionate environment which celebrates differences and commonalities alike. IC3D Learning promotes local leadership and global citizenry as core competencies. Children learn how to safely advocate for themselves and others which are themes that will follow throughout their lifetime.
